The Invisible Shield, The Invisible Sword 
Electronic Warfare is becoming increasingly important in the 21st Century
battlespace. EW includes three major sub-divisions: electronic attack, electronic
protection and electronic warfare support. As such, it is both offensive and
defensive in nature. Today’s commanders are increasingly aware of the immense
benefits EW brings to the battle against both conventional and asymmetric opponents.
Sophisticated EW systems can, for example, mitigate the threat to friendly platforms
from a number of imminent threats, both land-based and airborne. Equally, they
can disable systems used by terrorists and insurgents.
Vision is not Sight
Air radar is proof that vision should never be confused with sight. Modern
air-to-air radars enable fighter aircraft to detect, identify and target enemy
air and surface assets from considerable ranges. Techniques such as JEM, HRRP,
SAR, DBS, GMTI and UWB have become commonplace in today’s aviation environment
and provide us with a detailed picture of the battlespace that the naked eye
never could. Many of these military techniques are now finding civilian applications.
A Fusion of Technical, Operational and Training Experience
Inzpire staff have wide experience of Electronic Warfare and Military Radar
and from both user and industry perspectives. We are at the heart
of important new UK MoD developments in Electronic Warfare and Radar Sensors and are extremely
experienced at working with the UK and US Armed Forces during test and evaluation
of radical new capabilities. In addition, we have considerable
