So
much is happening at Inzpire. We are a rapidly expanding, world-class, aviation
expertise house. We are in huge demand and,
consequently, our client list is growing all the time. We are privileged to
work with the UK Armed Forces, Government Research Institutes and many international
defence companies. Despite our rapid growth, the guiding principle of Inzpire
always remains constant: the provision of the highest quality aviation advice
by experienced war-fighters who have actually “been there”.
Listed below are some of our most recent developments:
June 2010
June has seen several new strands of work start across the Inzpire portfolio. Our HF Division has helped a leading Formula 1 team with workshops on communications, and a Premier League Football Club with sessions on Human Factors. Meanwhile our FITE Software has been in use with 29 Sqn, the Typhoon Operation Conversion Unit, to great acclaim. Our FITE software aids aircrew to visualise tactics against a threat and to evaluate actions taken in live combat, allowing pilots (during debrief) to alter manoeuvres that were actually flown to show how alternative tactics would have been more successful. Our ISTAR division has been involved with a major aviation insurance underwriter to help them understand a specialist area of aviation risk and our Radar and EW Division has had its contract with the MOD extended due to their excellent performance.
May 2010
Inzpire's ISTAR Division ran an Introduction to ISTAR Training Course for personnel in ISTAR Delivery Teams at MOD Abbeywood. This was the first time such a course had been provided and it received extremely positive feedback from all the students. Some who attended, who were familiar with ISTAR, felt that the course reinforced their knowledge, but also added a greater depth to their understanding. Others, who were new to ISTAR, found the course incredibly informative and believed that it would enhance their decision-making back at their workplace. In addition Inzpire's Rotary Division delivered their highly acclaimed and FAA approved Methods of Instruction Course to instructors at a major helicopter company in the USA, whilst the Fixed Wing and Rotary Divisions have continued their collaboration to assess training gaps for Apache.
April 2010
April has seen Inzpire’s Fixed Wing Division collaborate with the Rotary Division to assist the MoD with a Mission Essential Competencies Study for The British Army’s Apache AH1 Force. This study will identify current training gaps such that AH1 training can be improved in the future. In addition, April saw Inzpire’s Human Factors Division win a contract with the RAF to prepare and deliver Human Factors Case Study training to RAF support personnel. This will see Inzpire commence “train the trainer” courses to expand Human Factors training outside of the cockpit.
March 2010
Again, March has seen some new events happening within Inzpire. Inzpire’s Fixed Wing Division has started work on writing live-synthetic training scenarios for a collaborative effort between the UK and Sweden. These scenarios will see Inzpire assist in driving forward research incorporating live and synthetic entities in a multi-national synthetic exercise. In March, Inzpire’s ISTAR division’s primary focus was to support a leading Defence Research House in the development of an Automated Imagery Exploitation submission for the Centre for Defence Enterprise. This support included the provision of some realistic operational scenarios and then the evaluation of their product against the scenarios. The operational knowledge and experience of Inzpire's ISTAR division meant that the customer was able to understand how their product could better support the operator and the likely tasks and demands that would be expected from it.
February 2010
February was a busy month, with Inzpire’s Human Factors Division conducting training in Situational Awareness and Decision Making for a major Formula One Racing Team and a leading Championship League Football Club. Additionally, Inzpire’s Fixed Wing Division has started work for the MoD on an evaluation of the training download possibilities presented by UK Military Flight Training System, whilst continuing studies into Mission Essential Competencies for the RAF C130J Force.
January 2010
Inzpire’s Rotary Division has delivered a bespoke Methods of Instruction training course for a Major International Helicopter company. This course ensured that all customer's instructors fully embraced the very latest instructional techniques and technology in order to train best practice on the most complex and demanding helicopters. The course ensured that instructors were given the tools necessary to allow the effective passage of critical information, and to correctly assess the requirements of every student. The course gave Company Instructors the means and confidence to adapt their instructional methods to suit the needs of the individual student.
January 2010
Inzpire’s Fixed Wing Division has facilitated workshops at RAF Lyneham to capture user requirements and competencies required for the future collective operation of RAF C130J and A400 aircraft. These workshops will influence the design and procurement of future linked RAF simulators and training devices.
