So
much is happening at Inzpire. We are a rapidly expanding, world-class, aviation
expertise house. We are in huge demand and,
consequently, our client list is growing all the time. We are privileged to
work with the UK Armed Forces, Government Research Institutes and many international
defence companies. Despite our rapid growth, the guiding principle of Inzpire
always remains constant: the provision of the highest quality aviation advice
by experienced war-fighters who have actually “been there”.
Listed below are some of our most recent developments:
December 2009
Inzpire has rolled out its highly acclaimed aircrew Human Factors training into exciting new areas. Following on from our success in training RAF aircrew and instructors, Inzpire's Human Factors Division are now training the RAF's Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) crews. We have developed the World’s first specialist "Human Factors for UAV Operators" course and have now trained the first batch of Predator and Reaper Crews for the RAF. Our innovative and ground breaking course was extremely well received, as it was deemed operationally relevant in that it addressed the very real Human Factors issues relevant to UAV operations in operational theatres.
November 2009
November saw Inzpire’s ISTAR Division has supported a major UK Contract Engineering Research and Development Company to provide a submission to the Centre of Defence Enterprise for Automated Imagery Exploitation. Inzpire’s Head of ISTAR, Andy Howard, provided the necessary military SME input including the writing of scenarios and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed tool. This work will be ongoing until mid March 2010.
October 2009
Inzpire Human Factors Division has been engaged by the Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management Company to deliver Human Factors Training to racetrack staff prior to the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This training was extremely well received and helped ensure that the Grand Prix was an unmitigated success. Inzpire is heavily involved in Formula 1 and has enhanced the safety and performance of several Formula 1 race teams.
September 2009
Neal Newnham joins Inzpire's team. Neal Newnham joins Inzpire's team as the Head of our Fast Jets Division. Neal has a wealth of operational experience from both within the cockpit and from an operational headquarters perspective. A Qualified Flying and Weapons Instructor on Harrier aircraft, Neal has previously Commanded No 20(R) Squadron, The Harrier Operational Conversion Unit, and is a graduate and prize winner of the Joint Service’s Advanced Staff Course. Neal retired from the RAF in 2008 and briefly flew Airbus 320 and A340 before joining the Inzpire team to head up the Fixed Wing Division.
July 2009
Andy Howard joins Inzpire's team. Andy Howard joins Inzpire's team as our Head of ISTAR. Andy has just returned from an ISTAR posting in Afghanistan and has enormous experience at the sharp end of ISTAR. He takes over leadership of our extensive ISTAR team which has special expertise in all matters ISTAR, including the employment of Unmanned Aerial Systems.
June 2009
Inzpire is Prime Sponsor for Heroes Festival. Inzpire was the prime sponsor for the Heroes Festival held at Newark Showground on 26th June 2009. This Help for Heroes Event attracted over 10,000 visitors and raised a significant 5 figure sum for our nation's war wounded. Inzpire's financial sponsorship of this event was pivotal in achieving this amazing result.
May 2009
Inzpire wins Human Factors training contract from international helicopter manufacturer. Inzpire has won a contract to provide Human Factors training to the instructor pilots of a major international helicopter manufacturer.
Two more staff join Inzpire's full time strength. Andy Blake (ex Royal Engineers and Royal Logistics Corps) joins us as our office manager. Derek Bashford (ex RAF engineer with extensive experience of Harrier Operations) joins us as our Quality Assurance manager and PRINCE 2 specialist.
April 2009
Inzpire Wins Typhoon Training Contract from BAE Systems. Inzpire has won a contract from BAE systems to provide specialist advice on Typhoon Aircrew Training Issues.
March 2009
Inzpire has been approved as a full member of the MoD's FATS 3 (Framework Agreement for Technical Support). We were previously a member of earlier versions of FATS. FATS was developed to enable fast and efficient procurement of Technical Support by MoD from high quality "approved" organisations. Technical Support is defined as ‘the provision of applied technical knowledge’ and includes Technical Studies, Project Support, and Engineering Support.
February 2009
Three new members join Inzpire's DSALT team. Bob Chevli will act as the DSALT Air-Ground Expert. Bob is a highly experienced Tornado GR4 Qualified Weapons Instructor with front line and OEU (Operational Evaluation Unit) experience. Simon Henderson is a highly experienced Intelligence Officer and qualified targeteer from the Army Int Corps who will fill one of the DSALT J2 posts. Jonathan Belcher is experienced E-3D operative with over 5000 hours flight experience and extensive datalink expertise. He will fill one of the DSALT ISTAR posts.
January 2009
Inzpire has been selected by the MoD to provide an Electronic Performance Planning Aid (Electronic ODM) for the RAF Tornado GR4 Force. Inzpire's innovative product will directly support front line Tornado operations overseas. The software has been procured under a UOR (Urgent Operational Requirement).
