Tim has joined our Integrated Sensors and Systems Division as an Information Technical Consultant to support Inzpire’s involvement in the Lightning F-35 programme.
Tim joined the RAF in 1990 and through a varied and distinguished career gained experience in a number of IT and network-based postings, including Theatre Head of Service Transition during the withdrawal from Afghanistan and a two-year posting as Head of IT at the Royal Air Force’s Air Warfare Centre. Tim also has experience in training design and delivery, and from 2015-2017 he ran the training, innovation and capability delivery Squadron for 90 Signals Unit.
Tim’s final RAF posting saw him take up the role of the F-35 Ground Information Systems Delivery Lead and IT Operations Manager at Lightning Force Headquarters.
During his career, Tim won a number of awards for his innovative work. In 2015 he won the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) Award for Innovation, and he led the Air MODNET team that received an Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Commendation for supporting the RAF’s adoption of Office 365.
Tim is also a keen snowboarder, and has been involved with snowboarding in the RAF since 2008. Tim led a number of station teams to the Alpine Championships.
