Richard has joined out Intelligence, Cyber and Counter-Terrorism Division and will be providing intelligence training development and synthetic training expertise.
Richard joined the Army in 2003. Having completed the Royal Corps of Signals Specialist Operator training he was assigned to 14 Signal Regiment (Electronic Warfare) and charged with the management and maintenance of a specialist non-comms electronic support measures sensor. During this assignment he deployed twice to Iraq on Op TELIC, providing Electronic Warfare support to deployed battle groups.
In 2008 Richard was assigned to the Joint Service Signals Unit at Digby as a specialist intelligence operator, leading a team of intelligence experts in analytical activities against intelligence priority tasks. During this assignment he deployed twice to Afghanistan on Op HERRICK.
His final assignment in the Army was to the Joint Intelligence Training Group at Chicksands, where he delivered specialist technical intelligence training. During this assignment he was seconded to an internal standards department charged with ensuring accuracy of training delivery and the monitoring of other tri-service trainers.
