Inzpire Limited has announced that it has won a contract to provide 3 Requirements Managers to the UK Lightning F-35 programme.
The contract will see personnel from Inzpire’s Integrated Sensors and Systems Division working alongside uniformed Royal Air Force and Royal Navy Requirements Managers to provide technical subject matter expertise (SME) input. Inzpire’s SMEs will provide expertise in a range of areas within the Lightning programme, including fielded and future weapons development as well as developing and managing future test and acceptance activity.
Jim Mulholland, Head of Integrated Sensors and Systems at Inzpire said: “We are very pleased to be working side-by-side with our RAF and DE&S colleagues by providing our deeply experienced SME support to help assure the capability delivery of this pivotal 5th Generation aircraft for the front-line.”
Chris Forrester, one of Inzpire’s Lightning Requirements Managers, said: “Already a key contributor to the Typhoon capability, Inzpire has now been charged to support this next generation capability making us a key contributor to the future of UK Combat Air. We provide a level of experience and specialist knowledge that complements the uniformed Requirements Managers’ own skillsets, and support the retention of corporate knowledge as well as bringing to bear lessons identified from within the Typhoon requirements world”.
