Welcome to Inzpire, Cameron!

We are delighted to welcome Cameron Thompson to Inzpire.

Cameron joined our integrated sensors and systems team in early June, working as a Senior Mission Support Manager.

Cameron completed a BSc and an MSc in physics before going on to complete a PhD in electronic and electrical engineering in 1996. That year, he joined GEC-Marconi Radar and Defence Systems, where he worked as a Systems Engineer within a millimetre wave Seeker team.

In 1999 he joined MASS as a Senior Consultant and for the next eighteen years provided electronic warfare expertise to the RAF in support of developmental and operational test and evaluation. He was promoted to Principal Consultant and also served as an external examiner for Cranfield University MSc research degrees.

In 2017 Cameron joined Leonardo Airborne and Space Systems Division as a Lead Systems Specialist, working on future electronic warfare capabilities within both the naval and air domains.

Cameron lives in Lincolnshire with his wife and three children. He enjoys hill walking, camping and photography, has just applied to become a National Trust volunteer and for the last fifteen years has been trying to teach himself to play the guitar!

Welcome to the Inzpire family, Cameron.
