SJ joins us as a human resources assistant.
SJ was born in Wegberg, Germany, and spent the majority of her childhood at RAF Cranwell and adulthood in Lincoln.
Whilst at college, SJ worked part-time for McDonalds, working her way up to assistant business manager working in various locations around Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
During her time as an assistant business manager, SJ managed all things ‘people’, and was in charge of all elements of the recruitment process, from creating job adverts to interviewing and on-boarding. SJ would often induct 20 new recruits a month, and from there would create training plans for the recruits before completing all performance and training reviews.
In 2013, SJ travelled to India for 3 months with the charity ‘Restless Development’. Here SJ trained, educated, supported and inspired young people to lead development in their own communities. She and two other volunteers taught basic IT skills, developed CV’s and set up practise interviews for young people across Southern India.
Before joining Inzpire, SJ was working locally in a support role within commercial finance. In this role, she worked alongside brokers for commercial mortgages, refinancing and business loans. The role consisted of taking new enquiries, chasing clients for outstanding information needed to progress applications, following up with lenders as to the status or applications and outstanding information needed to complete loans and collating and presenting weekly sales against targets.
Outside of work, SJ likes to spend her time watching live music or comedy. She has two Cocker Spaniels and enjoys discovering new places for them to ultimately make themselves filthy! Like most people SJ loves to travel and see as much of the world as possible.
