The Role

Inzpire is a highly innovative and rapidly growing defence training and technology company who design, develop and deliver some of the world’s most advanced defence related training, products and services. Inzpire’s Maritime Division provides maritime warfare consultancy and expertise, end-to-end maritime services and solutions to global clients. We require an air warfare specialist to contribute towards several exciting opportunities in support of the Royal Navy and other maritime organisations for the delivery of capability development and synthetic training.

As part of the team you will:

• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) across a variety of capability development projects for several MOD organisations.
• Develop, design, deliver and debrief complex maritime warfare training scenarios to challenge and drive battle staff exercises and task group activity.
• Act as professional White Force in a multi-domain operational training environment.
• Provide insightful SQEP coaching, mentoring and analysis of the training audiences through maritime military scenarios and present after-action reports to promote effective learning.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, technical SME and customers, both within Inzpire and externally to scope training requirements.
• Develop, or coordinate the design and development of individual unit and/or task group training and learning scenarios.
• Conduct business development, including SME input to larger bid capture teams.

The Person

We are looking to hire talented, experienced people who are passionate about providing valuable experience, to aid the development and implementation of future capabilities; with a particular focus on the through-life training requirements, to optimise our customers' performance.

The successful candidate will be supporting senior colleagues in delivering core outputs from day one. We are therefore looking for an individual with the following experience and qualifications:

Essential

• Royal Navy warfare qualified: air warfare officer  (T45 experience preferred); principal warfare officer (any).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present information, which is compelling, engaging, and unambiguous.
• Work proactively, seamlessly, constructively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent IT skills, to include Office 365.

Highly Desirable

• Instructing, coaching, and mentoring skills within an RN training environment.
• Experience in multi-domain operations / integration.
• Task group operations experience.
• Battle staff experience.

Desirable

• Queen Elizabeth Class experience.

Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
