The Role
Inzpire’s Mission Training Devices (MTD) Division specialises in creating world-class simulators to enable high-end training. Whether it is landing a heavily laden helicopter in a dusty environment, or a soldier calling in close air support whilst under effective enemy fire, MTD provide realistic simulators that enable training for these situations.
As a Technical and Office Administrator you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our simulation development and demonstration facility at Cody Technology Park Farnborough.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage and maintain a tidy and well organised working environment.
- Manage, maintain and support purchasing of simulation and computer hardware and spares.
- Collate and maintain record of inventory, purchases and disposal.
- Organise MTD personnel travel itineraries for international business development (BD).
As well as technical and office administrative support, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in MTD project delivery and for development within the team. We offer a fun and fast-paced start-up environment with a role that will be based at Cody Technology Park Farnborough but may require occasional travel within the UK and internationally to support MTD activity.
The Person
Inzpire’s MTD Division is looking for an enthusiastic Technical and Office Administrator who is passionate about technology and wants to join us to help deliver excellence to our customers.
Being a Technical and Office Administrator will require:
- Previous experience using the full suite of Microsoft Office Applications.
- The ability to work independently within a technical office environment.
- Management of computer and simulation related hardware equipment and spares.
- Receipt and dispatch of simulation equipment for BD and contract delivery.
- Liaison with 3rd party suppliers and contractors.
- Supporting preparation of simulator devices for BD and contract delivery.
You will be supported and mentored by the division’s Operations Lead who will help guide and develop you in your role. We will provide a competitive salary, supply you with appropriate hardware for the role and give you all the necessary experience and training you need to operate in your role. There is also the opportunity for further development into other roles in what is a rapidly expanding division within Inzpire.
Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
