A significant amount of activity is happening right now within both Defence and Industry around Mission Data transformation, which seeks to ensure military systems and platforms are optimised through the refinement of programmable data, to operate and win in an increasingly contested global battlespace. This challenge is both real and formidable, however plans are well underway to achieve this through greater levels of collaboration and cooperation across industry, defence and academia alike. Our Head of Strategic, Information & Data Services, Mark McNulty, will talk about the future of mission data during the ‘QinetiQ Virtual View’ V-Fairs event on Wednesday 22nd July 2020, so we warmly invite you to come along to hear more about these vital developments. Inzpire's technical and strategic services (TSS) mission data experts have been working in conjunction with our Group Partners at QinetiQ to further the debate around Mission Data transformation in order to drive forward thinking in this space and exhibit our fundamental collaborative behaviours. We are exceptionally privileged and proud to continue to work with our Inzpire Non-Executive Director and former Chief of Defence Intelligence, Air Marshal Phillip Osborn (retd), who as a lead strategic force in intelligence services transformation has recently published a thought-provoking article on ‘Collaborative Advantage’.
Building on our thinking about the future of Mission Data, Inzpire TSS personnel have again been working hard in conjunction with QinetiQ to establish a dedicated microsite where more information and explanations about Mission Data production can be found. The microsite features explanations and videos by Inzpire TSS personnel on what mission data is, how it is produced and what the vision for Mission Data Transformation involves. You can find out more about Mission Data, and watch a video about how it is produced, over on the QinetiQ microsite.
Inzpire are proud founding members of Team Pegasus
At Inzpire we have been at the heart of the Mission Data Transformation debate from the outset. Not only is Inzpire TSS providing day-in-day-out direct support to Defence through the augmentation of our trusted ex-military Mission Data experts, but we are also a founding member of ‘Team Pegasus’: a consortium of leading companies in Defence Data with a shared vision for collaboration, inclusivity and helping Defence realise Mission Data Transformation. Team Pegasus has been built on an open architecture principle with strong collaborative principles at the core. As we recognise that no single organisation or company can achieve Mission Data Transformation alone, Pegasus not only brings together the collective expertise of Inzpire, QinetiQ, SRC UK and CGI, but also enables a reach into a wider pool of innovative Small-Medium Enterprises who may have the best and most cost-effective solution to a particular transformation challenge. For more information about our collaboration vision and Team Pegasus, please download the information leaflet below.
