On 4 July, the Air Battlespace Training Centre (ABTC) at RAF Waddington hosted an awards ceremony which included personnel from Inzpire.
Air Commodore B Crawford, (Commandant of the Air and Space Warfare Centre) presented the awards and medals, with the main presentation being the Queens Platinum Jubilee Medal (QPJM).
The QPJM is being awarded to all serving and reserve members of the armed forces, uniformed cadet force adult volunteers, and the emergency services to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen’s Accession to the throne on 6 February 1952 and who have completed 1826 days (5 full calendar years') service.
Andy Winterbon (Lt Cdr RN), who is a command and control subject matter expert within Inzpire's Collective Training Division at the ABTC, received the QPJM. Al Hadfield (Sqn Ldr RAF) works as the Engineering Delivery Partnership Manager within our Technical and Strategic Services Division; he received the QPJM and the Accumulated Campaign Service Medal (ACSM). The ACSM is awarded to service personnel who hold a qualifying operational medal and have completed more than 720 days campaign service. Si Taylor (Flt Lt RAF), received the QPJM. Si is a senior software engineer and principal training consultant within our Training Services Division.
