Inzpire is a Company with a true military heritage. Many of our employees served in the Armed Forces; we currently employ a number of Reservists, and we are proud signatories of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant.
In recognition of this, and in particular our support to the Reserve Forces, Inzpire and 16 other employers were invited to the Ceremony of the Keys in London on Monday 15 June by Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers (SaBRE). Jess Wood (pictured fourth from right) is Inzpire’s Commercial Director and attended the event on behalf of Inzpire. On being Inzpire's representative for the prestigious event, Jess said:
“This was a truly memorable event which included a tour of the Palace of Westminster, a private visit to the Battle of Britain World War II Operations Room and Museum at RAF Uxbridge and a tour of the Tower of London, culminating with attendance at the Ceremony of the Keys in the evening.
“The day presented a fantastic opportunity not only to have privileged access to some of London’s most popular historical attractions but also to learn more about SaBRE and the support that they offer to Reservist employment and to meet other like-minded employers who also employ Reservists.”
The invite to the event follows on from Inzpire signing the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in January 2015, which formalised our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
Rich Havercroft, Head of Support Services at Inzpire, commented:
“Inzpire are delighted to be working with SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers) as we recognise and highly value the contribution Reservists provide to UK businesses. The Inzpire team is drawn predominantly from veterans from the Naval Service, the Army and the Royal Air Force and we employ an ever increasing number of serving Reservists together with spouses from military families.
“We are immensely proud to be trusted partners of the UK Armed Forces and have committed to sponsoring a wide range of charitable and sporting endeavors across the Armed Forces Community as part of this close relationship. The opportunity to meet fellow representatives from other likeminded companies is a wonderful chance to share best practice and exchange ideas on how to support our Reserve Forces staff even further”.
