A founder member of Inzpire, Mark joined the RAF in 1987 as a Weapons Controller gaining significant experience in Battlespace Management. He qualified as a fighter pilot on the Tornado F3 and, after two squadron flying tours, became both a Qualified Weapons Instructor (QWI) and Electronic Warfare Instructor (EWI). Following a successful tour as the QWIP (instructor pilot) on V(AC) Squadron, Mark became the fighter tactics specialist at the UK Air Warfare Centre with a specialization for war-fighter focused synthetic training – this experience has given him a deep understanding of air power and capabilities across all platforms. Mark then went on to create and lead the Mission Systems area of the Company, which has developed a range of highly innovative military Software Products that are fielded across defence.
Mark has two daughters, resides in Lincolnshire and enjoys mountain biking, walking in the countryside, great cuisine and international travel. He tries to keep fit and is obsessed by technology and gadgets.
