Enhancing the speed and accuracy of mission planning and rehearsal
Inzpire’s GECO Mission Planning System provides the most intuitive and highly capable air mission planning system currently available on the military market. Designed by Inzpire’s mission systems division, which employs operationally-experienced personnel alongside an outstanding development and engineering team, the GECO Mission Planning System delivers precise functionality which meets both current and future mission requirements. The system is designed around a flexible open architecture, enabling integration with existing ground and air-based mission systems.
From the outset the GECO Mission Planning System has been designed as a genuine multi-platform solution, enabling an entire military force to benefit from a single, interoperable system. The system can be quickly and easily reconfigured to meet the needs of any aircraft type and is currently in service with a wide range of fast jet, multi-engine and helicopter platforms in the UK and overseas including F16, Puma and C130.
Modern military operations demand a high level of interoperability. Inzpire’s GECO Mission Planning System is highly interoperable allowing cooperation across multiple different assets during an operation. Examples include interoperability with:
The simple yet intuitive design of the GECO Mission Planning System follows logical mission flows, enhancing the speed and accuracy of mission planning. Automated features check the safety and accuracy of the plan and alert the user to potential issues. All mission planning is undertaken in a single, integrated environment which minimises planning time and maximises time for pre-mission study.
This efficient design has been made possible because the GECO Mission Planning System was conceived, designed and built by highly experienced engineers and aircrew from a wide range of military backgrounds who truly understand mission tasking and workloads.
GECO’s 2D and 3D mission rehearsal and flythrough features allow complex scenarios to be ‘flown’ and rehearsed before the actual mission. This enables personnel to enhance their understanding of critical and complex elements of the mission before taking to the air. Target flows, rejoins and weather impacts can all be analysed to maximise awareness before the mission.
The GECO Mission Planning System’s features are highly configurable allowing the system to be adapted to accurately match the requirements of the user. From basic flying training right through to complex multi-aircraft operational missions, GECO’s scalable features provide the exact capability required.
Throughout the procurement process Inzpire will work closely with customers and users to understand their needs and configure the GECO Mission Planning System to deliver exactly what is required.
