Compact Agile Simulation Equipment delivering cost-effective training to the trainee at point of need.
With personnel deployed on operations across the globe, maintaining currency and competency cannot always be met by the traditional model of simulators housed in large complexes.
The CASE family of simulator systems has been designed to improve access and availability of synthetic training, mission rehearsal and mission assurance for operators and commanders.
CASE simulator systems provide cost-effective, deployable, reconfigurable, scalable and upgradable synthetic training to the trainee at point of need. The systems provide the advantages of synthetic training in a device designed specifically to meet the exact training requirement.
The use of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware and software in the production of CASE removes significant development costs and ensures that the simulator systems are a long-term, a cost-effective solution.
CASE simulator systems are targeted fidelity devices designed to meet the customer’s exact training requirements, reducing the cost associated with unnecessary or redundant emulation. Our engineers - informed by Inzpire’s extensive background in synthetic and live training delivery across the globe – are experts in producing bespoke solutions for the customer.
CASE simulator systems are light, portable and deployable by design and are designed to be ‘hand’ carried to allow the training to be taken to the trainee wherever they may be. Despite their portable design, the systems are ruggedised to provide protection against the rigours of deployed operations.
Where applicable, the use of Extended Reality (XR) technology such as Mixed Reality (MR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) helmet-mounted devices allow for full immersion without the need for expensive projected dome or multiple flat screen visual systems. CASE simulator systems are easily maintained to support availability on deployed operations and can be rectified remotely to ensure any issues are resolved quickly.
The extensive use of COTS products and a ‘plug and play’ design philosophy ensure that CASE simulator systems can adapt and evolve with a changing training requirement.
Inzpire’s extensive experience of synthetic training delivery and the design of synthetic training devices mean that our experts understand how training requirements can change. This is why the CASE simulator systems are designed to be quickly and cost-effectively reconfigurable. Systems can be easily reconfigured through the application of new hardware and the development or integration of new software on existing systems.
CASE simulator systems are modular devices that support seamless scaling.
The systems support the industry standard Distributed Interactive Simulation and High-level Architecture (DIS/HLA) protocols. As such, multiple systems can be connected together or with other simulators utilising DIS/HLA protocols to create networked or distributed synthetic training constellations.
The simulators are capable of delivering individual, team and collective training at the scale required.
CASE simulator systems are ultimately designed to grow with the training requirement.
The extensive use of COTS hardware and software combined with ‘plug and play’ architecture provides an easy route for upgrading.
The systems are designed to enable the use of new technology as it becomes available in order to improve training outcomes. This also reduces the requirement to maintain large packages of spare parts.
CASE simulators are designed to be software agnostic allowing for the upgrade of operating systems and synthetic training environments throughout the life of the system.
