Inzpire draw on the very best ex-military personnel, all with relevant recent operational experience. Within the UK, Inzpire’s experts are integrated into service commands, delivery teams and MoD headquarters, working as one with their service colleagues. They provide continuity, experience and technical knowledge that supports military output and can immediately deliver within complex programmes.
Our experts can assist you with requirements capture, down-selection, concept of use and test and acceptance, both at single sites and on fully distributed programmes.

Since 2006, Inzpire has been entrusted with developing equipment and capabilities for the U.K. Typhoon programme, working side by side with our customer. Whilst managing constantly changing requirements, we helped to deliver an exceptional platform ready to operate in the most demanding contested and congested environments. Our team's extensive capability and requirements management experience in delivering for defence, can revolutionise and enhance your operational capability.
Inzpire excels in delivering innovative services to each of our customers and we aim to continually surpass their expectations. A prime example of this is our work on the F-35B Lightning programme. In 2018 Inzpire was given the notable challenge of writing the Initial Operational Capability Acceptance Case Report for the RAF’s latest 5th Generation fighter – Lightning (F-35).
As independent auditors of the Lightning delivery programme’s performance against the customer’s Requirement Definitions and Mandate, Inzpire delivered an honest, objective and comprehensive assessment which the RAF Marham Station Commander decreed “best in class”.
Our experts can also provide you with independent, honest and operationally relevant technical advice and assessment.
Our equipment and capability development and assessment expertise is vast. Current and recent projects include:
- Complex weapons. Our team are currently carrying out assessment work for new weapons entering into service with the RAF and writing the acceptance reports.
- Operational testing. Inzpire personnel have worked with the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy to plan and execute the first operational test of F-35B aircraft from a UK aircraft carrier. Our highly experienced team of former military test and evaluation aircrew worked alongside our engineers to design and deliver impartial, honest and relevant acceptance advice.
- Aircraft modification. Balancing the requirement for aircraft modifications against the operational need to fly the aircraft is a complex skill. Inzpire’s logistics experts are integrated with their Royal Air Force colleagues and Ministry of Defence maintenance delivery organisations. Together they work to optimise the operational availability and performance of the UK’s air combat capabilities.
