The aim of Inzpire’s Fundamentals of Air-delivered Weapons course is to provide participants with a thorough understanding of modern, air-delivered weapons and their effects through studying weapon systems capabilities, limitations, and dependencies.
This course will provide students with a thorough understanding of how and why weapons are delivered from aircraft in the ways they are, and thus better understand ways to minimise collateral damage, avoid fratricide and improve accuracy. Additionally, upon completion participants will have an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of modern air-delivered weapons and guidance methods.
Students will graduate with a broad understanding of weapon employment, the procedures employed to ensure successful delivery of weapon effects and the use of air-delivered weapons in the air, land and maritime environments.
This course is designed for personnel seeking greater awareness and understanding of air weapons employment. Those who would benefit from this course include units and staff positions where a thorough understanding of weapons employment is necessary. This will include Ground Liaison Officers from a maritime or land background, attached to an Air Force Unit; Engineers working on aircraft weapon systems; or HQ personnel being exposed to the air environment for the first time.
