This course allows participants to take the first steps to understanding fundamental radio frequency (RF) concepts. The course content will introduce students to the world of radio frequency, from radar theory to practical weapon systems, through the understanding of readily accessible concepts.
The modules on this course have been designed from the outset by experienced EW subject matter experts, to present the dark and mysterious world of EW in an exciting and original format.
Electronic warfare awareness is essential in order to understand own-force capability and exploit a potential adversaries’ technical ability. This, as evidenced throughout modern history, is a key force multiplier.
Enrolling on this course will result in a thorough, ground-up understanding of radio frequency and the effect it has on military principles.
Graduates will leave with an enhanced skillset which can be applied directly to their roles.
This course is primarily designed to take an individual from knowing nothing about radio frequency to possessing an intermediate level of understanding about the subject. The course contains both introductory and moderately advanced academic material, thus it is also suitable as a refresher for the seasoned EW or tactics instructor.
