This course aims to equip students with the skills required to be able to assess the suitability of a wide range of current and emerging radar technologies for applications in defence systems across all domains. On successful completion of this course, students will be able to critically assess the performance of a range of Radar systems with due regard to their operational requirements.
Radar Systems find employment across a wide range of defence applications; particularly within the fields of EW, ISR / ISTAR and Tri-Service Defence systems.
This course is designed to introduce the main principles of Radar Systems technology and to provide an appreciation of the likely future advances in this technology. This enables the student to understand the importance of Radar Systems technology in the context of the wider defence environment.
This course includes modules from Inzpire's Introduction to Electronic Warfare: Radio Frequency. It is designed for students who are required to understand Radar system principles. The course is suitable for all levels of background; from ab-initio to seasoned operator. The course contains both foundation and advanced academic material.
