This course explains the governance processes for defence training and covers the key principles associated with managing a defence systems approach to training. Students will study how training policy influences organisations’ continuous improvement processes. Furthermore, the course explains the processes for managing commercial training activity within a defence environment and for UK Ministry of Defence students only, can also provide an overview of current defence training initiatives and projects.
With a broad understanding of defence training governance structures and management principles, graduates will be equipped to support the implementation of all elements of training policy. Upon completion of this course, participants will be familiar with current defence training policy and initiatives and will be able to translate this knowledge in order to enhance the organisation’s continuous improvement process.
This course is aimed at those individuals whose primary role involves the governance and management of defence training. No previous experience or qualification is required. This course is a prerequisite to Inzpire’s Training Needs Analysis Practitioners course and Inzpire’s Advanced Defence Training Design and Development course.
