This course will introduce students to the concepts of managing and planning mission intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. Students will study a broad range of subjects covering essential terms and concepts in collection operations management including processes, procedures, platforms, sensors, and tactics. The course culminates in student-led intelligence collection mission planning.
By completing this course, students will gain a fundamental understanding of the concepts and processes of planning and managing effective and efficient intelligence collection operations. Graduates will develop the vital collection management and planning skills required by those entering the world of intelligence collection and exploitation.
This course is aimed at civilian and military students who are, or will be, employed in the operational aspect of intelligence collection.
