The aim of this course is to allow analysts to challenge their formed views and understand how cognitive bias can and will impact their analysis.
Undertaking this course helps students to understand the need and benefits of critical thinking in the workplace. Students will learn the different types of thinking and traits to develop their own skillset. They will learn to assess and evaluate arguments, in conjunction with developing their own persuasive arguments grounded in logic and evidence. They will look at sources of information to assess the credibility and basis of the information gained from them, plus they will learn different biases and thinking fallacies that a successful critical thinker needs to be aware of
The course is aimed at anyone who has to assess/analyse information and ideas, and address issues in the workplace, from innovation through to personnel management and everything in between.
