This course aims to provide experienced UAS/RPAS operators, unit leaders and commanders with the opportunity to develop their UAS/RPAS skills in order to become a mission leader, integrator, co-ordinator and decision-maker in the future.
On completion of this course, graduates will be able to direct the operation of UAS/RPAS. They will have developed a full skillset enabling them to understand the tasking commander’s end state; be able to accept some mission risk; provide clear mission intent; and delegate appropriate authority to others to successfully gather critical intelligence from UAS/RPAS feeds.
Graduates of this course will be able to supervise the planning, mission execution and debriefing of their specific mission focus to provide a ‘decision advantage’ to the customer or supported unit.
This course is designed for experienced civil or military UAS/RPAS operators who conduct, or are interested in conducting, UAS/RPAS missions within a multi-domain, multi-asset or complex operating environment, or those who have a requirement to lead a team of UAS/RPAS operators. The course is also suitable for those who want to enhance current operating efficiencies for mission and/or commercial considerations.
