The Role

We are seeking a Counter-Air expert to join our exceptional team delivering Team and Collective training based at RAF Waddington. As part of a team embedded with military personnel, the role involves taking responsibility for cradle-to-grave training delivery in both the live and synthetic domains. Working at the focal point for UK military collective training, our experts are afforded freedom to operate and have a significant impact on the training and preparation of frontline force elements. As an in-house SME working within Inzpire’s ‘one team-one vision’ ethos, the Counter-Air SME will also have the opportunity to support other delivery areas. The role will be based primarily in the Lincolnshire area and will be interesting, varied and demanding. Travel to Main Operating Bases will be required as will occasional exercise support abroad. For example, our contracts stipulate a maximum 37.5 hour working week and we encourage flexible working to ensure our people can maintain their correct work-life balance.

The Person

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have Counter-Air experience
• Have an instructional qualification
• Have extensive knowledge of the current Counter-Air TTPs
• Possess the interpersonal skills to work with a range of military and civilian personnel at all levels
• Be a person who is flexible in their approach to work, both in location and timings

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will be required to hold National Security Vetting to a minimum of SC level without restriction, with the ability to attain a DV. In addition, UK residency of at least 5 years will normally be required.
