The Chief of the Air Staff, Sir Mike Wigston KCB CBE ADC has opened Gladiator; the RAF's world-class capability providing safe, secure and distributed simulation-based training for UK defence.
Inzpire is proud to be a leading partner in the Gladiator programme and to have contributed heavily to this week's opening.

As part of the Whole Force Approach, Inzpire professional White Force personnel are embedded at the Air Battlespace Training Centre at RAF Waddington, where full-time and reserve military staff work alongside contractors to provide expertly delivered and operationally relevant synthetic collective training.
Since it was announced in 2019 that Inzpire’s collective training experts would be managing the transition from the Defence Synthetic Air-Land Training (DSALT) programme to Gladiator, the company’s experts have been working hard providing subject matter expertise in all domains to the technical provider and DE&S. More recently, Inzpire has been an integral part of the Whole Force in the integration, testing and acceptance activity from a White Force perspective.
Monday 13 February marked the official start of Gladiator’s service life and the incremental integration of front-line operators from around the UK through their own simulation training environments.

However, this is just the first step; there are some exciting connections and capability upgrades planned for Gladiator which will secure the future delivery of truly immersive, multi-domain synthetic operations, all of which will lead to the UK’s armed forces and allies being better prepared to project military power on the battlefield.
Inzpire’s White Force is now busy planning and preparing for the first Gladiator overseas connection, which will take place in the coming weeks as part of Exercise Coalition Virtual Strike. This will demonstrate Gladiator’s ability to enable high-end collective training with both global allies and UK defence colleagues.
Inzpire’s Managing Director, Bren Nolan, said: “We are incredibly proud to be a leading partner of the RAF in the Gladiator programme.
“Our independent, professional White Force will use this exciting capability in the delivery of world-class collective training. The future is really exciting, and I look forward to seeing the planned capability upgrades which will enhance further the immersive, multi-domain training.
“Everything our Inzpire White Force is working towards is centred on the drive to deliver the next generation air force, for which Gladiator is key.”
Dan Simmons, Head of Collective Training and Services at Inzpire, said: “Our White Force has worked diligently to put the Gladiator system through its paces in recent operational testing.
"This is just the start and Inzpire looks forward to helping develop the capability to provide an operationally-representative, world-leading synthetic collective training experience.
“Congratulations to all involved in the Gladiator programme on this important milestone achievement!”
