This course aims to provide key personnel within cross-government, commercial or specialist organisations with an overview of the space domain and space-based capabilities. It will build an understanding of the space eco-system, its importance and the services provided.
Attendees on this course will graduate with an awareness of how space-based capabilities and services support civil, commercial, and military communities and activities. Students will also gain an understanding of the overall importance of space and the potential threats and societal impacts to these space-based capabilities. Moreover, the course will enable the ability to describe the processes and concepts that apply to space and support organisational integration and implementation of the goals of the National Space Strategy, its vision and the ambition of the UK Space sector.
The course is suitable for any personnel from across government and the commercial sector who require an awareness of how space-based capabilities can support and benefit their roles, responsibilities and activities.
