This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the principles underlying flight trials, including human factors, to enable the student to critically assess current and proposed systems and their impact on defence capability.
This course teaches students all aspects of trials management including the preparation, execution and reporting of a trial. Students will also learn how to conduct subsequent statistical analysis of trials data.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to plan and conduct a full flight trial using appropriate data recording methods and Human Factors (HF) assessments; and analyse flight trial data using statistical techniques.
This course is designed for students who are required to carry out test and evaluation roles or trials management duties.
