Inzpire’s geospatial intelligence training will introduce students to the basics of geospatial data, imagery and imagery intelligence. The course aims to allow those new to the subject an opportunity to gain an insight into the capabilities, benefits and limitations of the discipline in order to explore how it could be employed within their area of interest.
By completing this course, students will develop a thorough understanding of the three components of geospatial intelligence: geospatial data, imagery, and imagery intelligence. Each of these can be a powerful tool when analysing a situation but when combined they can offer the analyst or decision maker a truly insightful understanding of their intelligence problem set. Students will graduate with all of the skills required to use these components both individually, and in conjunction with one another.
This course is aimed at those who are new to geospatial intelligence and want to know how the discipline can add insight and context to their intelligence problem set. Geospatial intelligence has practical applications across nearly all military, security and civil sectors, and this course will provide a unique perspective to both analysts and decision makers.
