Inzpire Limited has been awarded an extension to its current Air Warfare Centre White Force contract to include providing support to the Royal Air Force Typhoon Qualified Weapon Instructor (QWI) course delivered by 29(R) Squadron at RAF Coningsby.
The Typhoon QWI course runs for 7 months, with the final element of the course delivered by 29(R) Squadron being the 7-week long Exercise TRIPLEX WARRIOR. Pilots then move on to Exercise COBRA WARRIOR; for which Inzpire have already been delivering the White Force expertise for over a year. It is therefore a natural evolution for Inzpire to provide support throughout the entirety of the QWI course.
Previous to the contract commencing, the planning and preparation of Ex TRIPLEX WARRIOR was undertaken by the RAF Squadron’s QWI staff, however Inzpire’s team of Aviation Experts will now fully support this task. Inzpire will also mentor the QWI candidates during the planning phase of the each scenario. In providing all-round White Force support to 29 Squadron, Inzpire’s experts will free up capacity for the RAF QWI staff to concentrate their efforts on instructing and supervising the course candidates both on the ground and in the air.
Inzpire have sourced the most highly qualified and respected retired military experts available to fill the roles within 29(R) Squadron, providing Typhoon expertise as well as ISR and C2 experience.
Inzpire’s Head of Aviation Experts, retired RAF Harrier QWI Dan Simmons said: “By implementing the skills learned from 10 years’ experience of delivering team and collective training, our experts will help broaden the training provided to Typhoon QWI candidates. Having members of the same team providing the White Force services to both 29 and 92 Squadrons will also make the combined training experience of Ex TRIPLEX WARRIOR and Ex COBRA WARRIOR even more coherent and efficient”.
Inzpire’s Aviation Experts Division specialises in the design and delivery of Team and Collective training in both the Live and Synthetic environments, combining the vast operational experience of their experts to provide training excellence. In addition, the team deals in safety management, providing rapid assessments of customers’ current training and safety systems and supplying solutions for any problems. The Division also joins forces with Inzpire’s highly experienced Human Factors Division to provide an end-to-end safety audit and training package.
