As a network-enabled system, GECO’s mission data can be quickly shared between disparate GECO users. Plans can be exported to onboard aircraft avionics systems and mission information is easily exchanged with other existing planning systems.
GECO enables rapid and accurate route planning before and during mission execution with automated calculations of atmospheric conditions and aircraft parameters, including troop weight limits and fuel consumption. Alerts appear if any performance limitations are exceeded.
2D and 3D flythrough visualisations - supported by data types such as mapping, satellite imagery, airspace structures and threat systems – allow complex scenarios to be ‘flown’ and rehearsed. Target flows, rejoins and weather impacts can be analysed to maximise awareness before taking to the air.
Combining data from all aircraft systems into a user-friendly graphical display enables aircrews to review the entire mission from multiple viewpoints - analysing flight paths, weapon deployments, aircraft exceedances and any other relevant data.
GECO meets the standards required for operating in demanding environments and is designed to comply with DO-178C DAL D.
Our team of highly experienced avionics experts and former military aircrew - many of whom used GECO operationally during their time in the armed forces – support GECO through all stages of the product lifecycle.
In the air, having the right information at the right time is critical for quick, accurate decisions. GECO's military electronic flight bag offers the following features:
In truth, nothing has changed the way I navigate – the basic principles remain the same – but the GECO paperless cockpit has considerably streamlined my planning and in-cockpit management. I spend much less time ‘heads in’ searching for documents – I can construct my sortie information in a more efficient way which frees up a lot of capacity to actually focus on the mission.
Inzpire’s Mission Support System has delivered a significant enhancement to operational effectiveness for the UK RAF Puma Force. It has contributed to the safe conduct of sorties flown during training and on operations, both in the UK and overseas, by day and by night
The Tornado Electronic Performance Planning Aid does exactly what it says on the tin!
