CASE JTAC

Compact Agile Simulation Equipment for Joint Terminal Attack Controllers

Request a demo

The first accredited mixed-reality JTAC simulator in the UK

Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) face immense challenges in preparing for the complexities of modern warfare. Traditional simulation training methods struggle to effectively replicate the intensity and realism of combat scenarios; CASE JTAC revolutionises JTAC training by bridging this gap.

As a cost-effective solution to live training, CASE JTAC transports trainees into true-to-life battlespaces using pioneering mixed reality. Real-world peripherals seamlessly blend with high-fidelity virtual environments, creating an unparalleled 360-degree experience.

With its highly portable, deployable and ruggedised design, CASE JTAC brings this immersive training directly to you.

Technical specification

CASE JTAC is reconfigurable to your precise needs and allows the integration of a range of real equipment, tactical software and communication systems.

Rehearse and prepare for complex missions

Without adequate simulation capabilities, JTACs have few chances to pre-rehearse real-world missions and scenarios prior to execution. CASE JTAC allows on-demand mission rehearsal in tailored, fully immersive synthetic environments, where personnel can practise procedures, identify potential pitfalls and test their decision-making skills in a low-risk setting.

Whether you’re training individuals or teams, CASE JTAC facilitates rich judgmental training for JTACs, forward air controllers, joint forward observers, fire support teams and headquarters staff.

CASE JTAC

Accredited for Types 1, 2 and 3 controls

CASE JTAC meets all accreditation standards for JTAC competency and currency training, as certified by UK MoD.

Cutting-edge mixed reality

Trainees can naturally interact with both real-world equipment and form-fit-function replicas in true-to-life scenarios, promoting muscle memory and preparedness. The unique 360-degree immersive environment allows you to observe over-the-shoulder and behind-the-user visuals, increasing the Type 1 control attack profiles that can be trained.

Vari-focus camera system

Pass-through cameras provide realistic depth perception and focus abilities – allowing trainees to view near objects and far targets – to enhance the sense of presence in the simulated environment.

CASE UAS

Portable and scalable

The entire system is contained in air-transportable cases that can be easily lifted and set up where required. Multiple CASE JTAC units can be networked together or integrated with other simulators using standard protocols. This scalability allows you to construct intricate multi-role training scenarios incorporating JTAC, fire support, pilot and command teams.

Upgradable, modular design

Built with commercial-off-the-shelf technology, CASE JTAC's modular design provides an easy pathway for upgrades and combating obsolescence. New features and capabilities can be seamlessly integrated as your training needs evolve.

Comprehensive after-action review

Reinforce learning, improve performance and consolidate training objectives with CASE JTAC’s fully exploitable after-action review capability. Capture all data, communications and trainee gaze tracking for in-depth analysis.
