His distinguished RAF career included key positions within the Air and Space Warfare Centre and the procurement system, before commanding the Air Battlespace Training Centre. In his final RAF role, Jonny worked as the Capability Sponsor for the Future Combat Air System programme. His operational experience included multiple deployments in support of air and land operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Before joining Inzpire, Rich served for over 20 years as a Personnel Support Officer within the RAF. During his time in the military, Rich undertook a wide range of HR, finance, instructor, and infrastructure roles across fast jet, helicopter and training establishments as well as HQ postings. He also served on Op TELIC and Op HERRICK, the latter whilst embedded within an Army logistics brigade.

Following six months as a full-time Reserve Service Officer at RAF Wittering, where he was the Executive Officer to the Station Commander & Force Elements Commander, Rich returned to Inzpire in 2020 as People Director. He is a Chartered Fellow of the HR profession and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership.
Outside of work, Rich lives in Lincolnshire with his wife and two teenage children. When he is not ferrying his children to various social and sports activities, he enjoys long distance cycling, which he claims excuses his slow riding speeds!
