Our Intelligence Division doesn't just deliver training; it develops analysts who can use cutting-edge technology and employ a range of operationally trusted sources.
Over the past year, our team has continued to support defence customers across the globe with training solutions embedded with decades of operational experience. From air and space to land, maritime, and cyber domains, our instructors bring deep subject matter expertise across the full intelligence spectrum including geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), operational intelligence (OPINT), intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
But what sets us apart is that we train our own people to the same exacting standards that we deliver for our clients.
To keep our own analysts current and ready to support operational tasking or deliver training worldwide, we’ve designed and deliver a bespoke, inhouse imagery intelligence (IMINT) development and operational currency programme.
Led by our seasoned IMINT instructors, each with over 20 years of operational experience, the programme blends technical mastery with hands-on application. What makes it unique? We're not relying on generic online courses or pure academics. Instead, we’ve built it around our proven operationally ready suite of GEOINT content, tailored to reflect the complexity of the real-world.
Crucially, our training is supported by satellite imagery from some of the world’s leading providers, including Planet Labs, Capella Space, and EarthDaily. This gives our analysts access to:
High-resolution electro-optical imagery
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) feeds
Infrared and multi-spectral datasets
Our training reflects the multi-domain, multi-theatre challenges faced by today’s defence and security forces including monitoring military deployments, mapping, ISR planning, or simulating or supporting disaster response. It covers all of these subjects in depth and breadth.
Our latest batch of inhouse analysts are currently progressing through the foundation syllabus, covering collection methodologies, operational strengths and limitations of various imagery types, and the six core Imagery Interpretation Principles: Shape, Size, Shadow, Tone, Associated Features, and Movement.
These fundamentals underpin every successful imagery task. Our students analyse dozens of operationally relevant images every week, supported by detailed mentoring from instructors who’ve delivered intelligence in combat zones and scores of classified operations.
In practice they are:
Identifying actionable indicators in complex terrain
Distinguishing between natural vs man-made structures
Assessing intent and movement over time
Understanding how collection geometry (e.g. squint angle) affects interpretation
We’re not just delivering theory-based knowledge; we’re replicating real-time analytical decision-making, shaped by operational tempo and real-world pressures to train them to create products that support the most complex of decisions.
Our longstanding relationships with commercial providers like Planet Labs and Capella Space mean we’re not just consumers of data; we’re collaborators in capability development. This synergistic relationship allows us to:
Rapidly simulate global scenarios using current, high-fidelity imagery
Tailor training datasets to customer-specific locations or mission types
Support live operations with analytical expertise when needed
Here’s what a member of our intelligence team had to say:
The imagery analysis training has already paid huge dividends. Even at this early fundamental stage, the techniques I’ve learned have allowed me to critically analyse an image to extract key intelligence points. As an experienced intelligence professional, adding this skillset has further developed my analytical capability and broadened my overall knowledge."
The intelligence landscape is evolving. Hybrid threats, near-peer competition and multi-domain operations demand analysts who can interpret complexity at speed. At Inzpire, we’re training ours to do just that and making that capability available to you. Either through training or through integrating our team into yours.
If your organisation is seeking:
Real-world training aligned to current threats
Access to GEOINT for simulated or live analysis
A partner with operationally experienced instructors who will understand your mission context
Then we’re ready to help.
Whether you need a bespoke GEOINT training package, a team of deployable analysts or operational support, Inzpire’s Intelligence Division brings the expertise, tools and mindset to deliver results.
