Inzpire extends White Force partnership with the Air and Space Warfare Centre

Inzpire’s Collective Training Business Unit has been awarded a new three-year contract to supply White Force services, in both live and synthetic environments, to the Air and Space Warfare Centre (ASWC) at RAF Waddington.
The contract, secured through the Engineering Delivery Partnership, is set to benefit frontline training audiences from air, land, space, and maritime domains.
Inzpire White Force will support the design and delivery of the Royal Air Force’s capstone live flying event, Exercise COBRA WARRIOR, along with multiple synthetic exercises run from the Air Battlespace Training Centre (ABTC) under the GLADIATOR programme. These include connections to coalition partners around the globe. In addition, Inzpire space subject matter experts (SMEs) will now be embedded within the Whole Force to enable truly multi-domain collective training.

Inzpire has a rich pedigree in delivering operationally relevant training in live and synthetic environments. Its professional White Force comprises a team of SMEs who design and deliver exercises from cradle to grave covering the full Plan, Brief, Execute and Debrief cycle. They enable effective training by coordinating BLUE Force Tasking with RED Aggressor Force adversaries, utilising current threat data and up-to-date tactics, training, and procedures.
The company has had experts as part of the Whole Force at the ABTC for over 16 years and its SMEs at 92 Squadron have been vital to the planning and execution of Exercise COBRA WARRIOR, and other live flying large force employment exercises, since 2015. Inzpire has also supplied training to the Typhoon, Lightning, Tac Air C2, ISR, Air Mobility, Intelligence, Aviation and Reaper Qualified Weapons Instructor Courses.
By merging existing live and synthetic contracts, Inzpire’s White Force can now enable training to be conducted in the most appropriate environment. Its flexible workforce – with vast experience spanning all domains - brings synergy and expertise to provide coherence to live and synthetic training, with the objective to deliver more effective combat forces to the front line.

Group Captain Jim Calvert, head of Operations and Training Division at ASWC stated that:
“Inzpire SMEs are fundamental to the ASWC’s delivery of team and collective training in both the live and synthetic environments.
“The flexibility introduced through this contract is exactly what we need, working in partnership, to optimise how we use our Whole Force personnel to continue to develop and deliver the world-class training we owe to our warfighters.”

Engineering Delivery Partnership (EDP)
The EDP programme is the default route for the procurement of contracted engineering services for Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) and is available for use by the wider MOD community. It is a collaborative, progressive and agile programme that accesses the right skills, expertise and resources to ensure the UK’s Armed Forces and Front-Line Commands receive the best equipment and support. EDP is delivered by the Aurora Engineering Partnership, formed by QinetiQ, Atkins and BMT.
Inzpire’s Air & Space Division (formally Collective Training Division)
Inzpire’s Air & Space Division has over 16 years’ experience of successful, partnered collective training delivery with the UK Ministry of Defence. The division has designed and delivered over 400 live and synthetic exercises and provided operationally realistic training to over 10,000 frontline personnel. Its collective training teams are currently embedded in the RAF’s Air Battlespace Training Centre, Air and Space Warfare Centre and Typhoon Operational Conversion Unit, 54 Squadron ISR Warfare School, Air Ground Operations School and 20 Sqn Tac Air C2 Operational Conversion Unit, where they deliver joint collective training to Armed Forces personnel from both the UK and overseas.
