For service leavers and veterans seeking a seamless transition into civilian employment, Inzpire has once again cemented its position as a top workplace. We've been ranked 4th best employer of veterans across the whole of the UK, for the second year in a row, by the organisers of the global Forces in Business Awards.
The Great British Employers of Veterans is a prestigious benchmark recognising the organisations setting the national standard in veteran employment. The programme was created to provide a definitive, data-backed guide to the UK’s most exemplary Forces Friendly employers. It stands as a mark of excellence for organisations whose support to the British Armed Forces is embedded, enduring and effective.
Ben Rossi, founder of the global Forces in Business Awards series and 50 GREAT British Employers of Veterans programme, said: “This comprehensive ranking of Forces Friendly employers has become a cornerstone resource for veterans, reservists and their families – and a powerful benchmark for organisations seeking to lead in veteran employment. To feature in the Top 50 is to stand among the most committed supporters of the Armed Forces community.
“Inclusion is not easily earned. The 2025 list reflects a growing coalition of employers who truly understand military talent, setting best practice and proving that investing in the Armed Forces community is not just the right thing to do – it’s a clear strategic advantage. We applaud you all.”
At Inzpire, we pride ourselves on offering fantastic opportunities to veterans and embody the values and culture of our armed forces customers. Three-quarters of our workforce comprises veterans, with 9% of our team continuing to serve in the reserves.
We're proud to be recognised within the top 10 alongside some big names including Babcock, BAE Systems, Serco and Microsoft to name just a few.
Rich Havercroft, People Director, Inzpire, said: “I’m delighted that Inzpire has been recognised with a top four place. We work hard to provide a familiar environment for veterans leaving the forces. The majority of our people are ex-military and have gone through the career transition process themselves – so we just get it.
“Inzpire offers supportive teams, purposeful defence work, and a smooth transition to allow service-leavers to feel at home in their second career. If you're planning life after the military, Inzpire is the one to consider.”
For 2025, the independent judging panel consisted of 21 business leaders who are veterans in their own right, including leaders from Asda, Fortinet, the University of Cambridge, RICS and the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance.
