Inzpire has delivered its inaugural five-day Fundamentals of Air Electromagnetic Warfare course to defence industry specialists.
The company has embraced a new course model that enables individuals specialising in the field of electromagnetic warfare (EW), mission data or EW operational support to access EW training outside of a contract that demands a minimum nominal roll.
The course is designed to be inclusive and engaging, with captivating courseware and the use of physical props and multimedia to provide students with an understanding of the air electromagnetic environment and its application via EW within military operations.
It aims to be comprehensible to all trainees regardless of experience, yet compelling, informative, and interesting to those attending with previous knowledge. Customers are upskilled to ‘ask the right questions’ or to identify project shortcomings.

Attendees on the inaugural course could interact with peers who have different specialisms and insight in the field of electromagnetic warfare
The inaugural course took place at the Lincoln College Business Centre, Lincoln, from 13 – 17 May 2024, with attendees enrolled from multiple companies and able to benefit from interaction with peers who have different specialisms and insight. Feedback indicates that individuals from the first cohort almost immediately put their new wisdom to good use against associated projects.
Andy Rogerson, the primary instructor for the course commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to deliver our Fundamentals of EW course.
“Attendees have already positively fed-back that they have utilised their new knowledge to benefit their own company projects and personal development. The design of material appeared to perfectly support the learning experience, with sufficient technical detail for those wanting to learn underlying concepts and operation, but simultaneously a high enough level for those requiring operational implementation information.
“It was great to provide an opportunity to foster elements of the EW, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and mission data community and to provide a space for wider communication and interaction.
