27 February 2017

Inzpire Limited named as one of the Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to Work For

At an awards ceremony held at London’s Battersea Evolution on Wednesday 22nd February, Inzpire were ranked at number 32 on the national list for their overall employee engagement. With 100 employees at the time of the survey’s completion in November 2016, Inzpire were categorised as a small enterprise for the purpose of the awards.

According to 2016 Government findings, there are an estimated 5.2 million small and medium sized businesses in the UK.

The lists are compiled using data collected from the Best Companies employee engagement survey, which covers a range of workplace factors including health and wellbeing, relationships with colleagues and the leadership style of the Company. Every employee is surveyed anonymously. Of all the individual factors which were assessed and ranked, Inzpire also placed 3rd on the national lists for the ‘Leadership’ factor.

In addition to providing valuable insight in to their employee culture, Inzpire also used the opportunity to raise money for charity whilst surveying their staff. For every completed survey, Inzpire donated £20 to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Nottingham QMC Hospital. Inzpire’s Directors also generously agreed that whatever total was raised via the survey, the Company would match. A grand total of £3,720 was raised for the Unit, which Inzpire has supported for a number of years.

Hugh Griffiths, Inzpire’s CEO and one of its original founders, said: “I am delighted that for a third consecutive year, Inzpire has been named as one of the top 40 small businesses to work for in the UK. We have a truly unique company culture based on the military values of honour, integrity and trust. Our staff consistently go the extra mile for the Company and ensure that not only do we deliver an exceptional level of service to our Military customers, but we also all enjoy a fun, supportive and positive working environment, which is reflected in our consistently high ratings in the Sunday Times list”.
