Inzpire to Provide Civilian Qualified Helicopter Instructors to Wildcat Programme

Inzpire Limited has been awarded a contract to provide Civilian Qualified Helicopter Instructors to the 652 Army Air Corps Squadron based at the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton.

The contract will see Inzpire instructing Army pilots in how to fly the Wildcat Helicopter platform, with up to 3 CQHIs being provided to cover all areas of the training programme.

The contract continues Inzpire’s successful history of rotary instruction. The Helicopter Services Division already provides tuition for all elements of the Army Air Corps Apache Conversation to Type Course at Middle Wallop, and has been instrumental in ensuring that the industry-provided Wildcat Lynx Helicopter simulator is fit for purpose.

“The Wildcat provides a step change in Army Aviation reconnaissance and its sophisticated suite of sensors and communications will be a valuable addition to the Joint Helicopter Command", said
Al Whittle, Inzpire’s Managed Services Director and former Head of Helicopter Services. "Inzpire is delighted to have been chosen to provide Civilian Helicopter Instructors for this important programme as well as for the UK Apache force and this underpins our position in the Whole Force and we look forward to working hand in hand, fully integrated into the Wildcat Training Squadron”
