Our CEO Hugh Griffiths – one of Inzpire’s original founders – looks back on this exciting time:
“After 3 years operating from kitchen tables (with the company brass plaque on one of the founder’s garden sheds) the time came to look for a permanent presence: there are only so many times you can host a meeting in the local Starbucks. After much searching, we found our first permanent home. A single room in a small office block in Henley Way, Lincoln – handy for the local pub and across the road from our accountants at the time. It seemed like complete luxury to us! We split that single room into two with a partition wall, so we even had a meeting room. Wow!
"After a couple of years we rented another room in that small office block, meaning that we eventually had the whole ground floor. This first office was a small but significant step for us. It gave us a home that we could call our own but it also meant that we had more of an identity and it kicked off a surge of growth. For example, an office needs an office manager… we were on our way!
Inzpire’s move to Henley Way opened the floodgates for more contracts and more employees, including of course the obligatory office manager....
Enter Andy Blake, who joined Inzpire as the office manager at Henley Way in March 2009. Andy is still with Inzpire now and works as our company security manager.
