We’re delighted to welcome Hailey Hulme to Inzpire, as our new Technical Consultant & Requirements Manager.
Hailey joined the RAF in 2001 as an aircraft electrical technician. After completing training, she was posted to RAF Leeming on the Tornado F3 – completing multiple overseas tours. She then undertook her multi-skilled training and moved onto the Typhoon – being part of the formation of XI (F) Sqn at RAF Coningsby and 6 Sqn at RAF Leuchars, both challenging but extremely rewarding postings.
After completing a number of tours, Hailey decided that a change in job role was needed, so for her last tour, she moved away from the busy first line environment into the Typhoon Delivery Team at Abbey Wood. During her final tour, she was the desk officer for all things crypto on Typhoon – working within the Engineering Capabilities team.
Hailey has been highly recognised for her achievements in the RAF, receiving 1 and 2-Star commendations, as well as the Meritorious Service Medal in the King’s Birthday Honours List!
After 23 years in the RAF, she made the big decision to take the next step in her career, here with us at Inzpire. She said:
“Leaving the RAF after 23 years was a decision that I took a lot of time over. Having travelled to many places I never thought I would, meeting people who I now call my best friends and my significant other, I thought the time was right to move onto the next chapter in my career and challenge myself!”
Having settled in Yorkshire, Hailey enjoys socialising with her friends and has a real ‘bug’ for travel, so is hoping to visit as many places as she can. She also currently manages, coaches and plays for a local women’s football team – enabling her to make great friends in the area.
