Ben “Woody” Lunnon-Wood has joined our technical services operational business unit as an ISR SME to initially assist Air Cap at RAF High Wycombe.
Woody has 18 years' aviation experience including over 2300 flying hours, predominantly in the Close Air Support role including time as a Tornado weapons system officer (WSO). He has completed multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and more recently supported operations in Syria prior to retiring in April 2020.
In addition to his time as a Tornado WSO, Woody served as an electronic warfare instructor and graduated from the Tactical Leadership Programme. He has 8 years' experience within the ISTAR force and staffing experience within the FHQ where he worked with a variety of MOD and US DOD sectors.
Woody and Elle have recently returned from tours in Nevada with their two children. When not enjoying family time, Woody is happiest on the golf course during the summer and skiing each winter.
