We are delighted to welcome Andy 'JR' Ewing to Inzpire's Training Services Division.
Andy joins us as a senior training consultant after a varied career in the Royal Air Force.
Andy joined the RAF in 1997, training as a physical training instructor. After various tours working in station gymnasiums and working alongside the RAF Regiment, Andy was selected for parachuting duties at RAF Brize Norton. Here he was responsible for the delivery of static line parachuting to the UK airborne forces as well as freefall parachuting - including high altitude - to special forces personnel.
In June 2014, Andy successfully commissioned and became a personnel training officer where he completed roles on 24 Sqn with the C-130, in the Air Mobility Force HQ and as OC of the training development flight. Here, he was responsible for the delivery of force development activities including instructor development courses, leadership, management, coaching and mentoring courses and staff rides within the UK and Europe.
Following a career intermission that allowed Andy to live in Stockholm, Sweden for a year, he returned to undertake the role of the training support adviser within 3 Flying Training Squadron where he was responsible for the ground school phases of elementary flying training and multi-engine training. On completion of this tour, Andy was posted into the Joint Cyber and Electromagnetic Activity Group at RAF Digby as the training specialist within Defence Intelligence.
In his spare time Andy is fully embracing his mid-life crisis but instead of buying a Porsche has turned vegetarian, taken up yoga and quit caffeine! Still passionate about fitness and the outdoors, Andy is never happier than when he’s out walking with his best friend, Jett, a 4-year-old black Labrador. His future plans consist of travelling more and enjoying the environment, hopefully taking on a variety of protection projects along the way.
Welcome to the Inzpire family, Andy!
